Paying taxes:
The Borough tax bill is mailed at the beginning of February of every calendar year. Taxes paid by March 31 receive a 2% discount off the face amount. Taxes paid after May 31 will be assessed a 10% penalty over the face amount.
Payment can be mailed directly to to post office box shown on the bill. Additionally, taxes may be paid in the Borough office which is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon.
The millage rate for 2012 real estate taxes is 2.11 mills.
County and School District Taxes
Delaware County and the Wallingford-Swarthmore School Disctrict levy separate real estate taxes that are not included on your Borough tax bill.
