On TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2022,
a portion of the Chadwick Preserve will be closed for the herbicidal treatment of invasive Japanese Knotweed.
TRICLOPYR 3 (EPA #81927-13) will be applied via spot treatment (not broadcast spraying) to Japanese Knotweed growth.
Areas to be treated are on the lower flood plain as needed. It would be safest to stay out of this area and only walk along the upper trail during this time.
Please keep out of treated areas for 24 hours. This includes pets, so dogs should be kept on a leash when using the preserve during this time.
Should you have any questions, please contact Leonard Busby at 215-385-2643.
