About the event
Community Stewardship Day
Chadwick Nature Preserve
Sunday, October 18, 2026 | 1:00–5:00 p.m.
The Rose Valley Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) invites you to join us for a fall afternoon of community stewardship at Chadwick Nature Preserve.
Come lend a hand in keeping our treasured nature preserve beautiful, accessible, and healthy for everyone to enjoy!
Our primary task will be removing invasive Mile-a-minute vines before they can spread their seeds and threaten the preserve’s native vegetation. We will gather and bag the vines, including their berries, and carry them out of the preserve.
