About the event
Join fellow residents for Rose Valley’s fourth annual FREE THE TREES EVENT and help free our trees of invasive English ivy. Volunteers will meet at two different sites to learn how to safely remove ivy vines. Then put on your gardening gloves and join neighbors to Free the Trees in our beautiful woods.
WHEN and WHERE:
- at 9:30 AM at the Old Mill, to work in the Saul Preserve and the woods behind SRV.
- at 10:00 AM in RV Pool parking lot, to work on trees near the Pool.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, long pants, long sleeves, and gardening gloves. Bring your loppers, pruning shears, and pruning saws, if you have them.
