PUBLIC NOTICE: Rose Valley Deer Management Controlled Hunt

November 30 - December 12 and from January 4 - January 23, the Todmorden Woods Nature Preserve will be ONLY BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC from 9am to 2pm, with other hours reserved for the bow hunt. On Sundays the reserve is open to the public all day.

NEW RULES FOR 2020 – PLEASE READ!

In accordance with the Borough’s Deer Management Plan and in

consultation with the Rose Valley Environmental Advisory Council,

Rose Valley Borough Council has authorized one selected bow hunter

(who is a police officer and by far the most successful of the hunters in

Rose Valley’s nine-year-old deer management program) to conduct a

limited deer hunt in the Todmorden Woods nature preserve.
